KEY INGREDIENTS:
Shea Butter- This soft and creamy organic butter is extracted from the Shea nut and is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the Karite Tree, a large tree native to West and Central Africa. There are no chemicals used to process our Shea Butter. Shea Butter is known for its protecting and emollient effects helping to heal dry, cracked, aged and damaged skin with its superior moisturizing properties. It also provides protection to the skin from UV rays and is very rich in vitamin A and E.
Cocoa Butter- Cocoa Butter is a natural vegetable fat extracted from the cocoa beans. Our organic Cocoa Butter is produced in Ghana, West Africa. Cocoa Butter has a soft sweet cocoa aroma and is one of the most stable fats known. It has been known to heal and moisturize the skin and also helps to reduce the appearance of stretch marks. Cocoa Butter contains natural antioxidants that prevent rancidity which gives this butter a long shelf life of up to 5 years.
Cocoa Absolute- This heavenly 100% Pure Cocoa Absolute oil has the incredibly rich aroma of the finest chocolate. This rare and exotic cocoa absolute (real chocolate) is extracted from the cocoa bean in France. Our chocolate essential oil is guaranteed to magically turn any formulation into a highly intriguing love potion. Especially for you serious choco-holics out there! Superb! *This oil will naturally discolor its products to a gorgeous creamy tan color. This, in no way, affects the quality or performance of the product.
Apricot Kernel Oil- Our Apricot Kernel oil is an exquisite natural beauty oil that softens and protects the skin. It contains 100% virgin unrefined, filtered-only, Apricot oil. This oil is freshly pressed from the kernels of the apricot fruit and is good for all skin types. It is very enzyme rich and nourishing, particularly in Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Oleic and Linoleic fatty acids. Apricot Kernel oil is a very mild natural oil that absorbs easily and is often used in baby products due to its fine gentle nature.
Silk Proteins- Silk fibers are made by silk worms that are spun from their cocoons. These fibers add that extra silky finish to lustrous high-end lotions, cremes and soaps. They also help to strengthen the skin for immediate firmer and younger looking skin while helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Goats Milk- Goats milk is a purely natural and gentle beauty aid that has major skin softening properties! Creamy vitamin-rich goats milk soothes, softens and moisturizes like no other. Raw Honey- Honey is one of my favorite ingredients to use! It is believed to have healing antiseptic and antibacterial properties and can be used to treat a variety of ailments such as cuts, wounds and burns. Its antiseptic properties inhibit the growth of certain bacteria and help to keep external wounds clean and free from infection. Honey is also a natural preservative and natural humectant, having the ability to attract and retain moisture.
Vitamin E- Vitamin E plays a crucial role in protecting skin cells from damage and is one of the most important nutrients in providing healthy nourished skin. Vitamin E is a natural preservative that helps sustain the shelf life of bath and body products.
Safflower Oil- Safflower oil is a type of vegetable oil that is luxuriosly nourishing and moisturizing to the skin. It contains a high dose of linoleic acid which helps to restructure the skin and improve its overall texture.
Sunflower Seed Oil- In skincare products, Sunflower is one of the favorite of softening emollients. It is rich in Vitamins A, D and especially in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids. Sunflower oil has a light texture and is easily absorbed by skin, making it excellent for use in lotions, cremes, massage oils and other topical applications.
Coconut Oil- Coconut oil is one of the most commonly used raw materials in the skincare industry. It comes from the seeds of Cocos Nucifera and is primarily cultivated from Southeast Asia and the Philippines. Coconut oil is an excellent skin softener and is a valued emollient for cosmetic use.
Soy Bean Oil- Soybean oil is a superb moisturizer! It is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids and replenishes the lipid barrier to help hold in the skins intrinsic moisture. Soybean oil is easily absorbed and can help restore the beautiful luster and glow of one's skin.
Aloe Vera- One of the most well-known natural effective healing treatments for crucial dry skin and red sun burns. Aloe provides soothing hydration and skin protection to thirsty dry skin.
Witch Hazel- An all-natural gentle astringent that cools, cleanses and refreshes. A great natural skincare replacement for alcohol-based products.
Essential Oils- Essential oils are all natural liquids distilled from the leaves, stems, flowers, bark, roots, resins, or other elements of a plant. They are added to cosmetics for aromatherapy and to add a lovely natural scent. (Also see the Aromatherapy page for more info and ingredients used in our products)
Bellaroma uses only the finest, freshest, highest-quality of natural ingredients made up of 100% pure essential oils, fresh raw materials, spices, herbs, seeds and extracts from all around the globe. All products are safe tested (not on animals). They do not contain any parabens, which are commonly used chemical preservatives found in most body care products and cosmetics. All of our products are paraben-free and also phthalate-free (otherwise known as plasticizers), a very commonly used toxic chemical component that is found in the majority of personal care products to hold color and scent. The preservatives we prefer to use are free of parabens - healthier and safer for you and your skin!

While we prefer to make all of our products 100% all-natural, we choose to preserve our products rather than using none at all. While using no preservatives, you are eliminating chemicals, which is a positive, you also have a much greater chance of creating mold and bacteria...and fairly quickly when eliminating a preservative. This makes for a much shorter shelf life. I don't know about you, but I would rather not take that chance. Lastly, some essential oils can be skin irritants, so we make choices based on what will provide the most effective skin-safe product. Some scents cannot soley be created by using only essential oils. In these cases, we either keep them unscented or use the highest quality of upscale parfume fragrance components...all of which are phthalate-free. We also infuse 100% pure essential oils and top notch select exotic botanical extracts into the fragrance, depending on the product. All products using essential oils ONLY with zero fragrance components are listed on their product page as "100% Essential Oil Product". We do, however, use 100% all-natural exotic ingredients in each and every aroma we make, so you can enjoy all of our healthy products without any guilt! All colors, if any, are purely natural from the oils used or we will sometimes use natural colorants to add a natural hue of color to a product such as: natural mineral micas, peruvian cacao powder, paprika, etc. We do not use any synthetic dyes, vanilla color stabilizers or artificial coloring. *Please note* any product containing Vanilla or Cocoa Absolute will naturally discolor the product to a creamy tan color. This, in no way, affects the quality or performance of the product.
